The Dispatch Board provides a real-time operational overview of your flight department. See today’s flights, fleet status, and crew availability at a glance.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged into your workspace with access to the Operations module.
  • All roles can view the dispatch board.

Dispatch dashboard overview

Navigate to Dispatch in the Operations module sidebar. The dispatch page shows:

Summary cards

Five KPI cards at the top provide an instant snapshot:

Active FlightsNumber of aircraft currently in flight
Departures TodayTrips departing today that are not yet completed or cancelled
Arrivals TodayTrips arriving or completed today
Aircraft AvailableNumber of active aircraft in your fleet
Crew on DutyNumber of active crew members

Today’s flights table

A table of all trips scheduled for today, sorted by departure time (earliest first). Each row shows:

ArrivalEstimated arrival time
TypeTrip type (charter, owner, maintenance, positioning, training)
StatusCurrent status chip (Draft, Confirmed, Active, Completed, Cancelled)
Click any row to navigate to the trip detail page.
If no flights are scheduled for today, an empty state message will appear. Click through to the Trips page to schedule a new trip.

Fleet status table

Below today’s flights, the fleet status section shows every aircraft in your fleet with:

Check today’s operational status

Open the Dispatch page to see the summary cards. Review Active Flights and Aircraft Available to confirm fleet readiness.

Review today’s flight schedule

Scroll to the Today’s Flights table. Verify that:

  • All scheduled flights have assigned aircraft and crew
  • Departure times are correct
  • Trip statuses are up to date (e.g., confirmed trips that should now be active)

    Monitor fleet availability

    Scroll to the Fleet Status section. Check that:

  • Aircraft marked as “Available” are indeed ready for dispatch
  • Aircraft in maintenance are accounted for
  • Any aircraft “In Flight” show accurate ETA information

    Use the quick link cards at the bottom of the dispatch page to jump to:

  • Ops Command Center

    The Ops Command Center (accessible from the Dashboard link in the Operations sidebar) provides an enhanced view with:
    • Flight Map: Real-time aircraft positions on an interactive globe
    • Flight Timeline: Visual timeline of upcoming and recent flights
    • AI Copilot: AI-generated operational suggestions
    • Dispatch Board: Embedded dispatch overview
    • Crew Availability Grid: At-a-glance crew status
    • Risk Trends: Operational risk indicators
    The Ops Command Center uses real-time WebSocket connections to update aircraft positions and flight status. A connection indicator shows whether live data is being received.
