By the end of this tutorial, you will have completed the five-phase AI onboarding — with aircraft in your fleet, your safety team designated, 22 Part 5 compliance documents generated, 40 safety performance indicators configured, and a guided tour of the platform complete.
Who should do this tutorial? New workspace administrators setting up PlaneConnection for the first time. The onboarding flow appears automatically after workspace creation.

Before you start

You will need a freshly created PlaneConnection workspace. The onboarding screen appears automatically after workspace creation. If you skipped it previously, navigate to Settings > Re-run Onboarding to start again.
Estimated time: 15—30 minutes. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can leave and return at any time.
Everything you configured during onboarding can be updated later from its respective settings page. Fleet information is in Settings > Fleet, safety team personnel in Settings > Organization > Role Designations, and documents in Safety > Documents.
