Who should read this: Workspace administrators (Admin role). Only Admins can invite users,
assign roles, and remove members. You need an active
PlaneConnection workspace with at least one Admin user.
Invite a new user
Assign or change a user’s role
Role changes take effect immediately. The user’s sidebar navigation and available features update
on their next page load. Downgrading a role removes access to resources the user could previously
view — make sure this is intentional.
Designate key safety personnel
If you need to verify or update the Accountable Executive and SMS Manager designations required by 14 CFR Part 5, navigate to Settings > Users in the Safety module. If either position shows “Unassigned,” assign the appropriate role on the Members page.Remove a user
The removed user immediately loses access to the workspace. Their
historical activity records — submitted reports, investigations
conducted, audit trail entries — are preserved for compliance purposes.
You cannot remove the last Admin in a workspace. Assign the Admin role to another user before
removing the current one.
