By the end of this guide, you will have reviewed flight data records, monitored parameter exceedances, analyzed fleet-wide trends, and connected FOQA findings to your safety risk pipeline.
The Operations module must be enabled for your workspace. You also need the appropriate operations permissions. Contact your workspace administrator if you cannot access these features.
You need access to the Operations module to use FOQA.
In the Operations sidebar, click FOQA. The overview page shows exceedance counts, trend indicators, and fleet-level metrics.

Review flight data records

Step 1: Open the flights list

Click FOQA > Flights to see all analyzed flight records.

Step 2: View flight details

Click a flight record to see the full analysis — flight parameters, exceedances, phase-of-flight data, and linked crew and aircraft records.

Monitor parameters

Navigate to the Parameters page to see all monitored flight parameters and their threshold configurations. If you need to adjust thresholds based on your operation’s risk appetite and fleet characteristics, click any parameter to edit its threshold values. Navigate to the Trends page to review fleet-wide analysis over time — exceedance rates, category distribution, fleet comparisons, and time-based patterns.
If you notice a trend at a specific airport (for example, increasing unstable approach events), check the Airports page for approach-related data grouped by runway and approach type.

Connect FOQA to safety risk management

If you identify a concerning trend in the FOQA data:

Step 1: Submit a safety report

From the FOQA context, submit a safety report to document the finding.

Step 2: Open a risk assessment

Evaluate the hazard severity and likelihood using the risk assessment workflow.

Step 3: Create corrective actions

If warranted, create CPAs for procedure changes, crew training, or route restrictions.

Fleet management and aircraft status tracking.

Run Reports

Generate operational reports including FOQA summaries.
